About Walk of Growth

Inspire & Empower those we Influence

On a Mission for Growth!

In 2013 I moved to the United States. Working as a Technical Consultant for Salesforce, one of the worlds most innovative companies, I got introduce to mindfulness. This new positive environment allowed me to start working on myself. Over the years I worked on my fitness and lost over 100 lbs, then I became obsessed with nutrition which finally led to personal growth. During cognitive behavior therapy, I made strides in uncovering my thoughts, beliefs and finally my feelings.

Early 2017 I started Walk of Growth to document my Pacific Crest Trail hike. It was supposed to be my journal of walking 2,650 miles from the Canadian border to the Mexican border. Before heading out, I created a publication on Medium and started writing a few articles. I intended to publish a report every other day but ended up only posting four times. Instead, I turned to Instagram for journaling my walk.

However, the journey and thought-work I did while hiking stuck with me and after a rocky re-entry into society post trail, I signed up for The Life Coach School. Completing the training in mid-2018, I’m now hoping to inspire and enable others on their Walk of Growth.

It’s time for me to set out and reach millions of people, giving them the tools to further their path of personal growth.

My Core Values

Health

Many choices can lead to poor health, but each has a cause.  Optimal health comes from a symbiotic relationship between my body and my mind.

Connection

An authentic human connection is powerful. As an introvert, I hate small talk and accept that going deep upon meeting is not for everyone.

Abundance

As human beings, we are whole and perfect. Nothing is missing which allows me to enjoy, grow and love unconditionally.

Vulnerablilty

I used to think to be vulnerable meant to be weak, now I know it’s my greatest strength. It is the required foundation for authentic connection.

Growth

The journey is the goal, and personal growth is the metric I measure myself on. Becoming better every day is what I strive towards.

Adventure

While it is great to have plans, goals and a clear path, I welcome adventure and am open to course correct midway.  Life is supposed to be fun after all.

You are the only one

In Charge of Your Life

There is nobody who can give you permission or approval to direct your mind or make the decisions for you. As Viktor Frankl said:

Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.

So chose your way now, and it would be an honor if you decide to work with me.
